Back in the Swing at White Rock
Quarries
(1st/2nd Quarter 2010)
White Rock Quarries and other mining companies in the Lake Belt
area of western Miami-Dade County, Florida — which produces the state’s highest
quality of limestone aggregates for the transportation, commercial and
residential construction industries — received new multi-year permits from the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after a careful review process confirmed that
quarry activities successfully meet the state’s long-term environmental goals.
